Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke with him about his function in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) team and the methods which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he said: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own nine backend search services that are core to the company's success. Among the most crucial is the Search API, which powers results on the Search engine result page. Our tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work closely with the Machine Learning team to bring AI-driven functions to the consumer experience, such as search relevancy enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collective, friendly team that focuses on strong onboarding and constant assistance. New staff member are assisted through the ramp-up procedure till they're confident taking complete ownership of their work. Each employee is useful to other employee when dealing with difficulties. We value a culture where wins are celebrated openly, and obstacles are owned together. We likewise make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep friendship strong. Q. What's your biggest achievement so far at Realtor.com? A. I'm most pleased with the professional growth I have actually attained given that signing up with Realtor.com as a Software Application Engineer over 7.5 years earlier. Throughout this journey, I've developed deep domain expertise, remained updated with developing industry practices, and regularly dealt with contemporary innovations. My dedication to continuous knowing and impact resulted in my promo to Staff Software Engineer and my function as one of the group's technical leads. Most recently, I've handled the duty of being the People Leader for the team-an interesting next step that permits me to support others in their development while continuing to drive technical direction.
