Forza Horizon 6 has taken our virtual racing journeys to some incredible scenic landscapes, but if you are a completionist aiming for that 100% completion badge, you will inevitably find yourself hunting down specific landmarks. One particular landmark that has caused a bit of confusion in the community is the official Radio Towers landmark.
While you might spot a few individual radio towers scattered across the main map—like the well-known clue tower over in the Ohtani region—those will not trigger the achievement you need. To get credit for the official point of interest, you have to head over to Legend Island, which is located directly east of the Tokyo Docks. The exact location is tucked away along a central dirt road route that cuts right through the middle of the island. Triggering it is simple enough in theory: you just need to get your car close enough to the towers, either by driving up to them or fast-traveling nearby, to trigger the automatic "Discover Japan" landmark notification.
The real challenge is actually getting onto the island. In the early to mid-game, Legend Island is blocked off by physical barriers, preventing you from simply driving across the bridge. Depending on your current campaign progress and how you prefer to play, there are three distinct methods to reach the towers and check this landmark off your list.
Method 1: The Official Way (Unlocking the Island)
If you prefer to play through the game exactly as the developers intended, you will need to progress through the main campaign to drop the bridge barriers permanently. This requires completing the campaign pathway:
Keep entering and completing Festival events to rank up your wristbands.
Earn the Gold Wristband, which is the seventh and final wristband level in the game.
Once you have the Gold Wristband, complete the final campaign milestone event, known as the Horizon Legend Event.
After completing this final milestone, the physical barriers blocking the bridge will disappear, granting you permanent access to drive across or fast-travel straight to the Legend Island Circuit.
Method 2: The Event Lab Bypass (No Unlock Required)
If you are still early in your campaign and do not want to wait until the final tier to claim your landmark discovery, you can bypass the map barriers entirely using the game's creative toolset. The community has set up custom maps that load you directly onto the restricted zone:
Open up your pause menu and head over to the Creative Hub tab.
Select the Event Lab section, then choose "Play Event".
Use the search feature at the bottom of the screen and type in the phrase "Legend Island".
Look for and launch a custom Event Lab map that features free driving or open exploration on the island.
Once the event loads up, ignore any custom track layouts and drive straight to the central dirt road to automatically trigger the landmark discovery notice.
Method 3: The Goliath Glitch Route
For players who want an alternative workaround without using custom Event Lab blueprints, the community discovered a clever trick utilizing the longest race in the game. This method forces the map to register your position on the other side of the barriers:
Go to the Road Racing category on your map and launch the Goliath event, as its default route naturally crosses over into Legend Island.
Complete at least one full lap of the race, which forces the game to map out and register the island's roads for your current session.
As soon as the event ends and you return to free roam, quickly open your world map, highlight one of the newly mapped roads on the island, and initiate a Fast Travel.
Pro-Tip for the Goliath Route: Because your campaign level might technically restrict you from being on the island, the game may attempt to automatically teleport you back to the mainland right after you fast travel. To stabilize your car and prevent this, rapidly spam your map button the moment your car lands on the island. This keeps you in place long enough to drive the short distance to the dirt road and log the Radio Towers.
