A locked Outpost in Arc Raiders needs an access-project check first; a blocked Level 4 expansion needs three Laser Levels, 40 Sheet Metal, and three Insulation Rolls. These are separate progression checks, so collecting materials will not replace unfinished project objectives. Keep ARC Raiders Items separate from the requirements displayed in your own Outpost interface.

Check the Project Before Collecting More Materials

Open the Outpost project directly and inspect its current objectives instead of judging progress by the notification marker. Initial access requires accepting the project and bringing a camera for the photo objective. Finding Laser Levels does not complete that earlier requirement.

Open the Outpost project and check which objective remains unfinished. If the project has not been accepted, accept it before preparing another material run.
For the initial photo objective, bring a camera. A raid focused only on collecting upgrade materials will not address that objective.
If initial access is complete, inspect the expansion requirements in the Outpost interface. For Level 3 to Level 4, check all three material totals rather than only Laser Levels.
After completing an objective, reopen the project and inspect its recorded state. Use that objective state as confirmation rather than waiting for an orange notification dot.

A missing orange notification dot was identified for completed first-stage Outpost objectives. Its absence alone does not mean your progress failed. Repeating the photo task without checking the project can waste a deployment.

Laser Levels are Epic-tier upgrade materials, not attachments or equipment you activate during combat. Reserve the first three for the expansion and keep the accompanying materials available. Before selling extras, read the requirements shown in your own interface.

Match the Search Route to the Missing Requirement

Search Pendola Pass only when Laser Levels are the material holding up your expansion. They cannot be crafted, purchased from merchants, or obtained by recycling other materials. The required route is to find them and extract with them.

During Flash Freeze, open the map and look for white tent icons marking accessible Snow Shelters. Not every shelter opens during the same event, so a remembered doorway is not enough. Choose a nearby accessible shelter rather than crossing the map toward a closed one.

Inside a shelter, inspect shelving toward the back before committing to a full container search. Laser Levels can appear as loose loot, making exposed shelves just as relevant as storage boxes. An empty shelf does not indicate a missing interaction or another unlock requirement.

Use Cielo Sereno Observatory when shelter access is unavailable or the approach is unsafe. The observatory is in northeastern Pendola Pass; start with its control rooms, exposed surfaces, and searchable metal containers. Extend into connected spaces only while the area remains manageable.

Almatera Station is a practical fallback when your route already passes through it. Check station shelving, rooms, and the seats and tables inside train cars. Its locked room is an additional opportunity, not a requirement for every attempt.

Stop Searching When the Problem Is Already Solved

Extract once the material you needed makes another search stop unnecessary. If only one Laser Level remains on your checklist, finding it should usually end the dedicated run. Finding all three in a single deployment is not required.

Flash Freeze exposure damages health, while shelter entrances can attract other Raiders seeking cover and supplies. A distant shelter or contested doorway can cost the material already in your inventory. Carry recovery supplies, leave inventory space, and identify an extraction route before extending your search.

There is no fixed waiting period that resolves an unfinished project or missing materials. Stop repeating the same search once you have three reserved Laser Levels; check Sheet Metal, Insulation Rolls, and earlier objectives instead. If a location has already been thoroughly searched, move to your fallback rather than circling empty surfaces.

Before deciding to buy ARC Raiders Weapons, check the Outpost project and write down the exact unfinished requirement; weapon purchases do not replace its objectives. If Laser Levels remain missing, deploy with a camera only when the photo task still needs it, choose one practical search destination, and extract as soon as you secure the material you need.
