I used to open Stories with the guilty feeling of someone who had ignored a chore. If I had not posted there for social media promotion half a day, I felt behind. Then I would rush in with random fragments just to prove the account was alive: instagram growth a screenshot, facebook growth a half-thought, a repost, a blurry desk shot, maybe a poll because people say polls help.
