CoD Black Ops Seven Hunter

CoD Black Ops Seven Hunter Bot: The Best Anti-Streak Tools Nobody Uses

Most players choose the tactical slot to be a comfortable pick. Stun, smoke, perhaps a flash and they're done.

warzone bot lobby may look cool on the menu but you might think it is a gimmick device that doesn't do much.

It becomes something entirely different once you test it out with numbers and real matches.

Portable, low-effort system to prevent streaks that behaves also like a floating miniature trophy.

Hunter Bot can help you fix this problem without having to give up on gunfights.

It's important to understand what it can do, why it's underrated, and the best way to use bo7 codes.

\ 1. What HunterBot Actually Is? (And how it behaves)

Think of Hunter Bot as an amalgamation between a trophy-system and a homing robot that will not move until it has found something to kill.

1.1 The Core Mechanics of the Game: How it Spawns. Floats. And Attacks

Understand the following key behavior:

Tactical Slot Equipment

Hunter Bot occupies your tactical slot.

The 'It does not follow you'

You will see:

You can now move to the position you want.

The exact height at which you released the device.

Stay in place until it locks on to a valid target.

It will die if you drop it onto a surface

It will not do anything if you directly hit a ceiling, wall or floor.

It is better to lob the ball slightly upwards into space rather than straight into geometry.

Height is locked-in

This vertical position will remain:

If you are too low, it is harder to see air streaks.

The incoming grenades may not be covered by teammates if the height is too high.

Targeting logic

Once it has a line of vision on:

Equipment of the enemy

Upgrades to the field or

Compatible scorestreaks

It is a spherical object that flies perfectly straight toward its target, hits, damages or destroys the target, then disappears.

Accidental Player Kills

If an enemy steps into the straight line when it is diving towards a target, and it gets hit directly by that player's attack, that player will be killed.

It's not something you should rely on for a consistent kill, but if it happens it is a nice bonus.

Another important point:

Hunter Bots are not able to target eachother. If two teams throw a bot into the same lanes and stare each other up in the air, they will just ignore each.

\ 2. Hunter Bot and Equipment and Field Upgrades

Hunter Bot acts on the ground like a floating trophies system, but with more reach and aggression.

2.1 Grenades & Throwables

If you hover near the grenade, any tactical or grenade that is thrown can be intercepted.

Lethal Grenades

Tactical Grenades (Stuns, Flashes, etc.

Combat Axe as long as it passes near enough

What it can intercept

It appears that it can destroy them with a single strike.

It protects the area underneath it from random spam.

It acts as a shield for your team against utility attacks.

2.2 Destroying Field upgrades on the Ground

Hunter Bot is also able to hard-counter ground-based field improvements, such as:

Munitions Box

Squad Link

Fear Trap

The map also includes other field upgrades.

It will:

Lock on

Straight at it.

In one single strike, destroy it.

The ability to do this alone makes it useful in objective-based modes where the enemy likes to stack boxes and traps around a capture zone or hardpoint.

The Hard Counter Trophy System

One important exception that you must always remember is:

Trophy System beats Hunter Bot.

If you target an enemy Trophy with your Hunter bot:

It will be flying towards it as usual.

The Bot is classified as another throwable in the Trophy.

The Trophy takes it out before it even makes contact.

When it comes to equipment vs. Equipment, you can expect:

Hunter Bot destroying most field upgrades, throwables and other items.

Trophy System always wins against it.

The ground control of the Hunter Bot is reduced when you are facing teams that constantly spam Trophies. Its anti-streak strength remains, however, if it is in line of sight.

\ 3. The Real Power - Hunter Bot vs Scorestreaks

Hunter Bot can be used to define itself if you use it correctly.

Once you have unlocked the right Overclock, it is a powerful tool against streaks.

3.1 Scorestreak damage numbers (With and without Overclock)

Scorestreak Slayer, the first Overclock for Hunter Bot, is a simple way to increase your Bot's damage against scorestreaks. The Overclock increases the damage done by your Bot to scorestreaks. The difference is massive.

Here's how many Hunter Bots it takes to eliminate common streaks.

When you look at the table below, several things immediately stand out.

1. Scorestreak Slayer transforms your tactical into an anti-UAV tool with a single button.

One Bot = Counter UAV, UAV, or one UAV.

No aiming or chasing.

2. High-tier streaks can be managed:

Sentry Gun : 1 bot with Slayer

Watchdog: 2 Bots.

VTOL: 4 Bots.

3. You can use this tactical with each life you have.

Start with one.

Scavenger lets you collect more.

Gear Head charges faster.

Assault Pack gives you new ones every time.

Hunter Bot is a free tool that lets you use respawns to launch anti-streaks.

Why Scorestreak is so Valuable

Scorestreak Slayer will be the best Overclock if your main objective is to deal with streaks.

It:

The required bot count for many streaks is reduced by 50% or even more.

Allows you to solo delete a Watchdog by using only two tacticals.

Combining a launcher with a VTOL can help your team shred the VTOL.

Because you don't have to stare at the skies:

Your Bots can be thrown upwards from cover.

Let them fly straight to their targets

Back to the fighting players.

This is why I run a special anti-streak loading that revolves around Hunter Bot plus Scorestreak Slayer.

\ 4. The Second Overclock, Locked On: When Manual Targeting is worth it

Hunter Bot also has a Locked On Overclock that allows you to control the Bot's attacks.

What Does Locked On Do?

Hunter Bot is not locked on.

Scorestreaks should be given priority over ground equipment if both are within line of vision.

Most of the times, this is exactly what you're looking for. But not always.

Imagine:

There's an UAV in flight.

Some enemy Munitions Boxes are near the point.

The Bot is picking the UAV even though you want to remove the boxes first.

This is what Locked On does.

The exact equipment or streak that you are looking for.

Put a diamond in the red on your target.

Throw the Bot at an item to ensure it prioritizes that item.

It's strong when there are mixed priorities or multiple strands.

Scorestreak First is still my first recommendation.

The problem lies in the trade-off.

In order to achieve perfect control, you must sacrifice extra damage.

It isn't the question of which one of five streaks to clear first that causes most people a headache in lobbies. But why are there only five streaks to begin with?

Experience:

If you are responsible for handling streaks, control per Bot is worth more than damage per Bot.

Scorestreaks can be used to eliminate the worst streaks and stop them before they snowball.

The Locked on concept makes sense when:

You will play in teams.

You need to be able to choose your targets very precisely.

You won't be as concerned about the number of Bots you need per streak.

Scorestreak Slayer, however, will have a greater impact on most players, and more often.

\ 5. Building an anti-streak loadout around Hunter Bot

If you really want to make the most of Hunter Bot, then I recommend creating a class that is dedicated to anti-streak instead of just slapping it into any random setup.

5.1 Recommended Loadout to Prevent Streaks

Here is a template which works well in lobbies that are streak-heavy:

What you can do with it:

The enemy calls UAV/counter UAV

Spawning on this class. Toss a Hunter Bot up in the air. UAV gone.

Enemy calls Watchdog -

You have Tactical expert + Slayer. Throw two Bots up in the sky. Helo may die before doing too much damage.

Calls from an enemy VTOL

Throw 2-4 Bots at it to reduce its health. Then use your launcher.

Your opponent's streaks will seem pointless to you, and this will dramatically change the momentum of tight games.

\ 6. 6.

You need to avoid some common pitfalls if you want Hunter Bot to feel as strong on paper as it does.

My Bot Did Nothing -- Bad Throws

Hunter Bots:

Or, explodes instantly

The effect is only a mere disappearance.

You are probably:

Toss it on a surface directly or

It should be thrown in an area with poor visibility (too low or tucked away in a corner).

Fix this by:

Then, throw it upwards in open space.

Position it over lanes or other areas that have clear access to the sky.

6.2 Expecting That It Will Counter Everything

Hunter Bot does NOT target:

Skewer

Hellstorm Missile

Harp

Hunter Bot will ignore Harp, even if you shoot it down with the launcher. It flies way too high.

Don't worry if your Bot pretends that Harp isn't there. That's how the Bot works.

\ 6.3 Overvaluing Player Kills

Hunter Bot will kill you if it rams into a player while aiming for something else.

You're misusing the weapon if you attempt to use it as your primary tool for killing.

Its true value is:

Grenade Interception

Equipment removal

Scorestreak deletion.

Treat player killings as an added bonus, and not your main goal.

6.4 Ignoring Trophy systems

If you have enemies who love to put Trophies all over the place:

The Trophy will eat your Hunter Bot first if you try to hit it.

Before letting the Bot go, you may need to shoot at or grenade a Trophy.

Knowing this matchup in advance will prevent you from being disappointed.

7. Who should actually run Hunter Bot?

Hunter Bot might not be right for everyone. But it's ideal for certain roles.

The ideal situation is:

You are the one who is usually responsible for dealing with enemy streaks.

You dislike losing due to the constant UAV and aerial streaks.

You want to have a greater impact than just killings.

It's not ideal if you:

You're only interested in your own immediate gunfight power.

You will rarely find high-level streaks in your lobby.

The simple rule:

Hunter Bot can help you win games if you feel that your team is losing the game when your opponent starts streaking.

FAQ

Q1 Is Hunter Bot worthwhile if I play mostly solo?

Yes, but especially when you're alone.

Random lobbies often follow a similar pattern:

Launchers are not something that anyone wants to run.

UAVs are a major concern for many people.

Streaks can snowball when nobody takes action.

Hunter Bot will let you fix it on your behalf, without you having to give up your main weapon or switch constantly between launchers. You just need to:

Switch to the anti streak class.

Throw your Bots up in the air.

Back to slaying.

Q2: Can it be used without Scorestreak slayer overclock?

It's useful, but it has a different focus.

Without Slayer

It's perfect for destroying upgrades to equipment and other field improvements.

It is a solid trophy that can be used to protect lanes or objectives.

If you want to lower your streaks or use UAVs, it is still possible with Bots.

Hunter Bot is a great defensive tactical, and you can use it without Slayer if you don't want to be the backbone of your team.

Q3: Do I need to drop my smoke/flash/staun for Hunter Bots?

You can lose games for a variety of reasons.

Keep your usual tactics if you lose fights often because you don't have smokes or shocks.

Hunter Bot will be an upgrade for you if your team is constantly losing maps to the enemy because they get streaks while your team does not shoot them down.

A good compromise is:

Keep one or two classes focused on gunfights (stuns/smokes).

Hunter Bot allows you to create an anti-streak class.

Switch to the class as soon as streaks start flying.

Q4 Is Scorestreak Slayer ever better than Locked On?

You can, but not all players.

If:

You're part of a coordinated team.

You want complete control over your Bot, such as whether it hits a streak or upgrades a field.

You are okay with having to have more bots for each streak.

Slayer’s raw damage is almost always more powerful when you play solo or in typical public lobbies.

Q5 - How precise should my throws be in order to gain value?

It's not necessary to have pixel-perfect line ups in a shooter.

It is enough to follow the general guidelines

For lane/objective control:

You can throw it up to the edge of a hill, a doorway, or if you want, above choking points.

To perform anti-streak duties:

Toss it into the air from a safe place with a view of a clear sky.

It'll do everything as long it can see.

When you see that your Bot does not move, you should adjust how and where you throw it.

Takeaways from the final section: When streaks are the problem, Hunter bot is the solution

Hunter Bot is underrated because it's not flashy in the scoreboard.

You won't get +3 kills by deleting the Watchdog popup.

When you:

UAVs of the enemy vanish within seconds of being called.

Watchdogs and VTOLs barely have time to shoot.

Now your team can play the game on the map without hiding in the air.

Stop using your tactical tool as an aim assist and start using it as a strategic insurance.

You can build a single anti-streak loadout and place Hunter Bot with Scorestreak Slayer as the core of it. The next time a VTOL spawns, you'll have the quiet power to make it disappear long before the highlight clip.
